Trending: Textured Velvet Manicure!!!

velvet
Manicures are anything but basic this fall. From caviar manicures that glisten like diamonds to matte treatments that keep nails looking cool and chic, it’s all about adding texture to tips and toes.
Celebs like RIHANNA, CASSIE andCHRISTINA MILIAN are constantly flashing the latest nail trends and the newest one to hit the scene is the velvet manicure. Created by innovative nail brand, Ciate, the velvet manicure is easy to achieve and is a stylish way to spruce up your nails for autumn and Winter. (huge fan of ciate #blushing)
This super chic manicure comes in three sophisticated shades:
Berry Poncho – Nail Polish in Cabaret and Purple Crushed Velvet Powder Blue Suede – Nail Polish in 3AM Girl and Blue Crushed Velvet Powder Mink Cashmere – Nail Polish in Cream Soda and Grey Crushed Velvet Powder
Here’s how it works. Apply first coat of nail lacquer. Let dry. Apply second coat of nail lacquer. Before it dries, carefully apply the velvet powder by shaking it onto the nail over the clear plastic tray used to capture loose particles. With the handy applicator brush, swipe off excess velvet powder and let dry.
Not as hard as it looks, and I love this sultry take on the classic manicure.
To purchase the Ciate Velvet Manicure Kit, you can go to www.Sephora.com, (we have it in S.A)
